Come ye Irish Soldiers! JD321 has created an interesting portrayal of something of an infamous Irish militant group.
1)Accuracy : 4 - Seems to be reasonably accurate. Though it seems like this unit may of had more variation in its uniforms, and hats then this already had.
2)Design : 4 - Averagely designed. The naturally dark color kind of makes it a little harder to see any of the details, but they are there. The guns are tethered, and the buttons shine on the soldiers!
3)Standard : 5 - This sets its own standard. As most of the figures are of this type from this designer for this period. Therefore it is a good and reasonably standardized set!
4)Uniqueness : 5 - There are a good amount of unique poses for a set of this size. A couple figures are running, there are some standing figures, and some are firing a gun. The greatest part is that if you are needing some unique poses for a roadblock you have the B-Specials standing at attention.
5)Usability : 5 - For the most part this set is ready to go. There is a reasonable difference between the figures, which makes it a lot easier in order to tell ranks between units on the battlefield.
Overall : 4.6 out of 5 - A great set for a relatively underrepresented period in history.
